Cornerstone Church Grays sadly had to close in 2026 with it’s final Sunday morning service being the 12th July 2026.

In the spring of 2026, our pastor stepped down. We advertised for a new part-time pastor, praying that the Lord might call someone to serve the church. Humanly speaking, we knew it would be a challenge, but with the Lord all things are possible. The application deadline passed and it became clear that it was time to bring the ministry of Cornerstone Church to a close.

When Cornerstone Church was planted six years ago, we always knew it was something of a risk. We were a small and vulnerable church, and the Lord never promises that every gospel-hearted church plant will continue indefinitely. Yet we trust that he has accomplished his purposes through Cornerstone. We are deeply thankful for the gospel fruit that God has graciously grown through the ministry of Cornerstone Church.
